The concert will be on Thursday in the Burlington High cafeteria. Also, the All-Town Band Concert will be in early March.

The following is a guest article by Donna Gregorio, BHS Music Boosters Association, Publicity Chair:

Got Music? We Do! Upcoming BHS Band and Chorus Concerts! This week, the BHS Band and Chorus will present their annual "Ides of March" concert, Thursday evening, Feb. 28th, in the Burlington High School cafeteria (located at the back of the building).

Come in from the cold and snow and enjoy some lovely musical selections presented to you by the BHS Chorus and Select Singers under the direction of John Middleton-Cox. In addition, for your musical entertainment, the BHS Concert and Jazz Bands will once again light up the room with their powerful and moving renditions of some classic favorites.

Refreshments will be provided and the concert is free of charge, beginning at 7:30 pm. The BHS Cafeteria is handicapped accessible.

Also coming to the BHS musical calendar is the fourth annual All-Town Band Concert, which will be held in the BHS gymnasium on Thursday, March 7th beginning at 7 pm.

A favorite of many, the concert will feature all grades from the Burlington band program, including elementary, middle, and high school music students. Concert goers will be treated to a special view into the growth and progression of musical prowess throughout the grades, providng motivation to the younger students to stick with their instrumental studies in anticipation of the musical excellence that can be expected in the highter grades.
