Where to Vote in Burlington

s the big national election.

Voters will be heading to the polls to weigh in on a variety of races and ballot questions, including the United States president and a Massachusetts senate seat.

So where do you vote?

Voting in Burlington will take place at Burlington High School from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

More information: The following is a release from Burlington Town Clerk Amy Warfield:

Of the over 15,000 registered active voters, approximately 11,000 are expected to cast their ballots in the upcoming State Election.  All precincts vote at the High School.  In anticipation of the high turnout, town officials have devised a traffic flow and parking plan.

Elderly, handicapped, and temporarily disabled voters have reserved parking at the poll entrance at the gym. 

IT WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL TO THE POLICE TO PLACE A SIGN ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE DASHBOARD INDICATING ELDERLY OR HANDICAPPED SO THAT YOU CAN DRIVE STRAIGHT THROUGH TO THE POLL ENTRANCE. 

All other voters will be directed to park at the student parking lot #1 or teacher lot #2.  Voters parking in lot #2 at the rear of the building will be able to use the rear entrance and walk through the building to the poll. (See pictures for map).

The lightest voting hours are 8-10am and 1-4pm.  There are 3 ballot questions and voters are encouraged to use the Voter Checklist from the Voter Information Booklet to take to the polls to help expedite the voting process.

There will be no through traffic allowed around the school except for those authorized to park at the entrance.  School is not in session on Tuesday.
