What Did You Think of Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick's DNC Speech?

The Massachusetts governor had delegates on their feet Tuesday night at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, but did his speech resonate with you? Let us know by posting a comment below.

Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick came out firing Tuesday night at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, attacking his predecessor Mitt Romney's record in the Bay State.

"Mitt Romney talkes a lot about all the things he's fixed," he said. "I can tell you that Massachusetts wasn't one of them. He's a fine fellow and a great salesman, but as governor he was more interested in having the job than doing it."

By the end of his speech, which touched on President Barack Obama's first-term accomplishments, the economy, role of government and the American Dream, Patrick had the packed crowd of delegates on their feet and in a frenzy, but we want to know:

How did Patrick's speech play here in Massachusetts? Were you a fan of the governor's remarks? Or did his words fall on deaf ears? Let us know by posting a comment below.

Don't let them get to you Shannon. They still have their obama-stars-in-their-eyes blinders on. They want to think that he has done much for this country besides apologizing for us around the world, etc. Do they not realize that the majority of the American people are opposed to obamacare? And that is his big accomplishment?

Many of us already are.

Did not like Patrick's speech. He is angling for a bigger job.

Food stamps have increased 87% between 2007 and 2011. People, stop fighting ! There are greedy people out there, and there are others that sincerely need help. The greed has to be weeded out. The elders deserve their Social Security. They paid into it and helped 'their' elders. Now it is the younger people's turn to do the same. Otherwise....? Fill in the blank. You have two choices. 1. Have a job and save for your future. 2. Suck off the system and take your parents into your homes as back in the olden days. We elders on SS saved for our kids future while we could, along with paying into the system. We didn't need to keep up witht the "Jones" and buy boats, or new cars every three years, and mom's stayed home with their babies because they were the most important people in our lives. GET A GRiP EVERYONE! Nothing is free. Life is much more gratifying when we have to work for what we have. And, the last thing we should be jealous of is someone that makes it big ! And I'm not talking about those that have it handed to them on a "silver spoon", I'm talking about a person that goes out into the world and makes it better with his God given brain ! Mitt Romney is one of those people. Think about it.... He's not looking to get rich by becoming Presisident. He's set for life by using his brain to boost others. If anyone can't see that, then I'm sorry for you.

Is it possible that Paul Ryan was angling for a bigger job by announcing his budget proposal?
