Release: Ken Gordon Sworn in as 21st Middlesex District State Representative

Gordon took the Oath of Office, administrated by Gov. Patrick, with 15 fellow freshman legislatures.

The following is a release from the office of State Rep. Kenneth Gordon:

Kenneth Gordon, of Bedford, took the Oath of Office on Tuesday as the new State Representative for Bedford, Burlington and Wilmington’s Precinct 3.  Governor Deval Patrick administered the Oath to Gordon and 15 of his fellow freshman legislators. 

“I am honored and humbled to have the opportunity to stand up for the people of Burlington, Bedford and Wilmington,” said Gordon. “There is much to be done, but I know we have what it takes to rise to the challenge. I hope to serve all of my constituents to the utmost capabilities of my office, and I look forward to working with the town administrators of my district to accomplish great things in the days, months, and years to come.”

Gordon will be scheduling informal sessions so that residents of the towns in the district can meet with him and discuss their concerns.  He will appear at the Burlington Council on Aging on January 18, 2012 at 10:30 a.m., and at True North, a coffee shop on Cambridge Street in Burlington on Saturday, January 26, 2012 at 9 a.m. He previously appeared for a town hall forum in Wilmington in December, and is planning events in Bedford.
