Patch Snap: New Town Administrator John Petrin Taking Oath

Today's Patch Snap comes courtesy of . The picture features John Petrin, , taking the Oath of Office on June 19th in the Clerk's office.

Petrin had been the Ashland Town Manager since 2005 and has a variety of community government experience. He was the Park Commission in Bellingham from 1980 to 1985. He was also the Town Administrator for Pepperell from 1985 to 1988 and had the same position in Harvard from 1988 to 2001. Petrin was also the Assistant Superintendent of Schools for Marlborough from 2001 to 2005. He has a BA in political science from Stonehill College and a Masters in Public Administration from Northeastern University.
