Opening for Position on Burlington Recreation Commission Position

The Town is seeking residents who wish to serve their community in an interim position.

The following is a post from the Town of Burlington: 

The Burlington Board of Selectman and the Burlington Recreation Commission will be making an appointment to the Burlington Recreation Commission. 

The Town is seeking residents who wish to serve their community in this interim position. Finalists for the position will be interviewed October 28 in a joint meeting of the Board of Selectman and the Recreation Commission.

The individual appointed to the Recreation Commission will serve from the date of the appointment until the Town’s 2014 annual elections. 

If you wish to be considered for this appointment, please contact Don Roberts at 781-270-1696 or droberts @burlington.org. The deadline for submitting applications will be 12 noon, October 24, 2013. 

The Recreation Commission is a policy-making board responsible for overseeing the Town’s recreation programs, services, and facilities. The Recreation Commission currently meets the second and fourth Monday of every month.
