Mass Primary is March 6; A Look at the Ballot, Poll Location

Voting will take place in the Burlington High School

Primary voters get ready.

The Massachusetts Presidential Primary will be held on Tuesday, March 6, also known as Super Tuesday, the day when voters in 10 states head to the polls.

This year there is a hotly conteded GOP race, which has come down to Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul.

There are also local primary elections for voters registered for a party can weigh in on (see ballot at right).

In Burlington, voting will take place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at . Volunteers at the school will help voters find their correct precinct and party ballot. Voters can also determine their precinct, which may have changed recently, by visiting this special section on the Town's web site

Anyone who would like to vote absentee has until 12 p.m. on Monday, March 5 to register as an absentee voter in the Town Clerk's office in .
