Department of Public Works leader John Sanchez has a new title.
During Monday night's Board of Selectmen meeting the board Sanchez's title was changed from Superintendent of Public Works to Public Works Director.
The assistant superintendents for highway and water will now be "superintendents" of their sub departments.
The change only affects titles and does not alter responsibilities or mean higher pay.
Town Administrator John Petrin said the change in title helped keep consistency among all the department heads. Other department heads in town were already called "Directors"
