Woman Rescued from Hotel Swimming Pool

Bedford emergency units responded to a local hotel Sunday evening for a report that a woman had been found at the bottom of its swimming pool.

When the personnel arrived at the DoubleTree by Hilton Boston/Bedford Glen hotel at 44 Middlesex Turnpike at about 8 p.m., a bystander, who was an EMT, was performing CPR on the woman, who is about 40, according to police.

Bedford EMTs transferred the woman to a nearby hospital. She was in critical condition Sunday night, police said.

Bedford police are investigating the incident.
