Woman Arrested for Shoplifting, Road Rage Incident Reported

Burlington Police Department logs for December 23 to 24.

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, December 23- 

  • At 2:29 a.m. police arrested Lisa Guarino, 51, of 22 Doane Road, Medford, on a charge of larceny over $250. Arrest made after Macy's reported detaining a shoplifter. 
  • At 8:05 a.m. a caller at Lahey Clinic reported her motor vehicle's license plate was stolen on December 19 while parked in the lot. 
  • At 2:02 p.m. police arrested Andrew Vitolo, 26, of 15 Grand Street, Apartment 1, Lowell, on a charge of shoplifting $100+ by concealing merchandise. Arrest made after Sears loss prevention reported detaining a shoplifter. 
  • At 5:10 p.m. a caller at the Burlington Mall reported a possibly domestic incident. Situation was an argument between male and female. Female was mad that the male bought her Christmas gifts while she was present. 
  • At 9:33 p.m. police placed a woman into protective custody after a manager at Macaroni Grill reported an intoxicated female. 
Tuesday, December 24- 
  • At 7:32 a.m. a Randall Drive caller reported his wife keeps driving by the house setting off his car alarm. Woman contacted and advised to leave the area. 
  • At 11:02 a.m. a Lord & Taylor caller reported a shoplifter. 
  • At 2:17 p.m. a caller reported the exhaust system on her vehicle was damaged by a speed bump at Lahey Clinic. 
  • At 6:10 p.m. a caller reported a hit and run accident at the Burlington Mall. Minor damage to front right corner of vehicle. 
  • At 8:45 p.m. a Skelton Road caller reported a vehicle followed him home from Route 3 and is parked behind him. Police report states there was a minor road rage incident between operators that police settled.
