Woman Arrested for Alleged Assault on Family Member, Dispute Reported at Victoria's Secret

Tuesday, July 1

  • At 3:25 a.m. an ambulance was requested in the Burlington Police Department parking lot. A person was transported by the Fire Department.
  • At 8:11 a.m. a Corporate Drive caller reported a vehicle parked in the garage with two windows smashed.
  • At 10:05 a.m. Arlington Police requested a well-being check on a woman on Middlesex Turnpike. The Airwing, Massachusetts State Police K-9 Unit, and Billerica K-9 Unit were all notified of a missing person, who was eventually located.
  • At 3:14 p.m. a fight was reported in the parking lot of Dunkin' Donuts on Winn Street between two men. Three men were arguing over a construction project, but it was a verbal only. The situation was calmed down and the men were sent on their way.
Wednesday, July 2
  • At 11:02 a.m. a Sprint caller reported a terminated employee made some threats upon his departure. Police found that no criminal threats were made, the suspect was upset about being terminated by the employee.
  • At 1:50 p.m. a walk-in came to the station and wanted a log entry made so he could file a complaint with the Consulate General of India. This complaint was to be made towards the IRS, which received his son's passport and lost it.
  • At 3:18 p.m. a customer was allegedly acting unruly at Victoria's Secret. Police found a minor dispute over sale items, which was settled for the time being.
  • At 6:56 p.m. a resident reported that he received a strange call from a woman who spoke broken English and said something like "You better get to your mother's shop to protect her." While driving to Woburn, the man suspected this could be a ruse to get him away from his home.
  • At 11:01 p.m. a caller reported a fight between a father and son. Police summonsed an Eastern Ave. resident for assault with a dangerous weapon.
Thursday, July 3
  • At 4:29 a.m. police assisted Lexington officers with a response to an armed home invasion a the Quality Inn on Bedford Street in Lexington. The K-9 Unit was deployed for a suspect search and a narcotics sweet of an involved vehicle.
  • At 3:18 p.m. a caller on Wing Terrace reported that a woman is intoxicated and hitting a relative. There were children home at the time of the incident. Alissa N. Heusen, 35, of 2A Wing Terrace, Burlington, was charged with assault and battery on a person over 60 years old.
  • At 5:17 p.m. a caller said her son's bike was stolen while at Burlington Reservoir. Police searched the area but could not locate the bike.
