There are scanner and twitter reports of a van fire on Route 3 Southbound in Burlington with emergency crews on scene.
According to a tweet from photographer Brian D'Amico the Massachusetts State Police have shut down the highway as members of the Burlington Fire Department work to clear the situation. There are also other reports from people at the scene.
It appears the fire may be a result of a two-vehicle collision, according to reports.
Expect heavy traffic delays in the area.
