Truck Fire on Route 3
We're hearing scanner reports of a dump truck with its cargo on fire on Route 3.
There was a truck fire on Route 3 approximately two hours ago, according to Detective Lieutenant Scott Jones of the Bedford Police Department.
A dump truck carrying hay had its cargo catch fire on Route 3 southbound, just south of exit 26 in Burlington, according to the BPD twitter account. State Police were on the scene.
Route 3 was closed at exit 26 southbound, according to the BPD twitter page.

The truck was also pulling a trailer full of hay, but the hay in the dump truck caught fire. Bedford, Billerica and Burlington Police all responded.
