Police Searching for Suspect in Recent Sexual Assault

Police are looking for a man in his 60s who indecently assaulted a woman on Sept. 28 on Francis Wyman Road.

The Burlington Police are asking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect in a recent sexual assault.

According to a release, the Burlington Police Department is currently investigating a report of an indecent sexual assault that occurred in the area of Francis Wyman Road near College Road.

The assault took place on Friday Sept. 28th at approximately 4:20 p.m. The female victim said she observed the suspect walking on the other side of Francis Wyman Road as she was walking home. The suspect then crossed the street and stopped immediately in her path. After a brief conversation the suspect grabbed the victim by the arm and indecently assaulted her.

The suspect is described as being approximately 60 years old, fair skin, messy white and grey hair, clean shaven and wrinkled skin. Suspect was wearing a bright blue, neon rain jacket with the hood on that was waist length. He had black running style shorts, white ankle socks and black footwear.
