Police Release Suspect Description in Burlington Mall Bank Robbery
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and tennis shoes.
The Burlington Police Department is asking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect in this afternoon's robbery at Bank of America in the Burlington Mall.
According to police, at approximately 4:40 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 18, the Burlington Police Department received a phone call indicating that a robbery just occurred at the Bank of America in the Burlington Mall. The Burlington Police Department responded along with the Massachusetts State Police and police departments from surrounding cities and towns
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and tennis shoes, police stated in a release. The suspect fled after demanding money from the bank teller. No weapon was involved.

A Bank of America employee on scene told customers gathered at the bank that nobody was injured in the incident.
A search of the immediate area was conducted. This matter is currently under investigation by the Burlington Police Department Detective Division in conjunction with the F.B.I. Bank Robbery Task Force.
