Police Logs: Man Arrested for A&B With a Dangerous Weapon, Multiple Shoplifters Arrested

Burlington Police Department logs for Oct. 5 to 6.

 Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Oct. 5

  • At 8:51 a.m. police issued a summons to a Lowell woman on charges of operating a motor vehicle without an inspection sticker, operating with a suspended registration, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
  • At 11:24 a.m. police issued a summons to a Medford man on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
  • At 12:37 p.m. police issued a summons to a Lawrence man on a charge of shoplifting by concealing merchandise. Summons issued after Kohl's reported an employee theft.
  • At 4:22 p.m. police arrested Brian O'Connor, 24, of 5 Gangi Drive, Woburn on charges of shoplifting by asportation and shoplifting $100+ by asportation. Arrest made after a shoplifting complaint by Lord & Taylor.
  • At 6:32 p.m. a Morrison Road caller reported his ex-wife was in his house. Female left before police arrived.
  • At 8:01 p.m. a Gardner Way caller reported receiving threats from his ex-wife's boyfriend. Threats were made over the phone.

  • At 1:25 a.m. a caller requested an ambulance for a male who fell out of a vehicle on Hilltop Drive.
  • At 2:33 p.m. a caller from the Rainforest Cafe reported her three-year-old daughter was missing.
  • At 4:36 p.m. police arrested Hem Tiwari, 43, of 44 Wilmington Road, Burlington on a charge of assault and battery. Arrest made after a female came to the station to report her husband had taken her daughter out of the home after an argument.
  • At 4:57 p.m. a caller from Building 19 reported someone stole her iPad.
  • At 4:59 p.m. police arrested two people after Sears reported detaining shoplifters. Police arrested Anthanacia Konstantopoulos, 64, of 129 Worcester St., Watertown, on a charge of shoplifting $100+ by asportation and Vasiliki Psikarakis, 59, of 29 Bennett Road, Watertown, on a charge of shoplifting $100+ by asportation.
  • At 5:43 p.m. police arrested See Boon Soo, 43, of 4 Wheatland St., Burlington on a charge of a assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Arrest made after a female reported she was struck by a person who lives in her home.
