State Police have identified the woman killed in a crash on Route 128 on the Lexington/Burlington line on Tuesday as Frida Litvak, 56, of Framingham.

She was driving a 2011 Toyota Corolla when she braked trying to avoid a mattress that had fallen from a truck. Her vehicle was struck by another vehicle.

The person in the car that struck Litvak suffered minor injuries in the crash. Both were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, said State Police.

State Police continues its investigation and is looking for the motorist whose truck was carrying the mattress that fell into the roadway.

“That vehicle is described as a large dump truck with a white cab and possibly black netting or a tarp partially covering the bed.  The bed is reported to be dark in color, with wood along the sides. At the time of the crash, it was reported to be occupied by two males and carrying multiple additional mattresses,” according to State Police.
