Out of Control Taxi Customer Charged With OUI

The following log entries were provided by the Burlington Police Department. Where mentioned, an arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, June 3

• At 10:49 a.m. a caller on South Ave. reported being threatened. Police responded and found this is part of an ongoing problem with the complainant, who has issues with various residents. The latest argument occurred at 11:30 p.m. the previos night. The caller was advised to speak with hotel management for a room on a different floor.
• At 1:19 p.m. a motorist on Locust Street told police an elderly man fell, but refused help. The Fire Department checked on the man, but he refused treatment.
• At 1:35 p.m. a resident said that several of her credit cards were taken from her while she was at Kohl’s Department Store on Sunday.
• At 5:51 p.m. a walk-in party reported missing lawn ornaments from her Robert Street home. The reporting person said they believe someone is stealing them overnight.
• At 9:17 p.m. a woman came to the station to speak with an officer, reporting that while a family members was audio recording her husband, that family member was raising her middle finger in an attempt to instigate a dispute.

Wednesday, June 4

• At 2:15 p.m. a 28-year-old Chelmsford woman was summonsed for shoplifting from Sears.
• At 4:08 p.m. a CVS caller said a man fell and hit his head. The Burlington Fire Department responded to the scene.
• At 4:15 p.m. a caller reported an unresponsive man in the parking lot of Starbucks. Police investigated and determined that a minor motor vehicle crash resulted in an ambulance request. The parties exchanged information prior to arrival and all operators refused medical service.
• At 4:47 p.m. police arrested Eric Colcord, 20, of 3 Sandra Ave., Burlington, on an outstanding warrant.
• At 6:36 p.m. dispatch from Burlington Taxi requested an officer for an out of control customer. Following the incident, Kimberly J. Obremski, 55, of 12 Fairway Drive, Topsfield, was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor. 

Thursday, June 5

• At 8:56 p.m. a Wedgmen’s security officer reported a vehicle doing donuts in the parking lot. The parties were advised to leave the area. The driver said they had never driven a standard before and his friend was letting him practice with his car.
