New Details, Surveillance Images of Sept. 18 Gas Station Armed Robbery Released

A male attempted to rob the Mobil Station at 173 Bedford St. with a knife a little after midnight.

New details and images from a surveillance camera from the Sept. 18 armed robbery of the Mobil On the Run gas station at 173 Bedford St. have been released.

As reported on Burlington Patch, Burlington police responded to a call at 12:18 a.m. of an attempted armed robbery at the gas station. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male under five feet tall and wearing a sweatshirt and blue jeans. A knife was brandished during the robbery.

Some new details have emerged on the robbery and of the suspect.

Fox 25 News reported yesterday that the robber allegedly threatened to kill the clerk if he did not comply with his directions.

Also, Massmostwanted.org posted the image above from the surveillance tape. The picture is quite blurry but one unique piece of evidence police noticed was the suspect's sweatshirt. The sweatshirt is unique and a stock picture of the type has been added to the story.
