Mother Calls Police After Drunk Son Burns Hand Cooking

The following are excerpts from the Burlington police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Tue., May 6

  • 5:16 a.m. A caller said his vehicle was broken into on Wellesley Avenue.
  • 5:49 a.m. A caller said a the removal of a dumpster on Ardmore Avenue was too loud and woke him up.
  • 7:09 a.m. Police responded to Baron Park Lane after a woman called police and said her 11-year-old daughter was threatening her.
  • 11:33 a.m. A dead duck was reported on the Middlesex Turnpike.
  • 10:28 p.m. A bonfire was reported on Winter Street by the edge of the water. Police informed those in attendance that no fires were allowed.
  • 11:39 p.m. A mother reported that her drunk son burned his hand while cooking at a home on Chadwick Road.
