Man Arrested for Restraining Order Violation, Home Breaking and Entering Reported

Burlington Police logs from September 26 to 27.

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, September 26- 

  • At 8:25 a.m. police arrested a man for being a fugitive from justice without a warrant. 
  • At 1:12 p.m. a Stonybrook Road caller reported their leaf blower was stolen. 
  • At 4:09 p.m. a member of the postal service at the Burlington Post Office found a letter with a white powder substance inside. Hazmat team called in. 
  • At 7:24 p.m. a caller reported that she left her purse in the Dunkin Donuts at 112 Mall Road and thinks it has since been stolen. 
  • At 8:11 p.m. a caller reported her cell phone was stolen at the Cheesecake Factory on September 21. 
Friday, September 27- 
  • At 8:32 a.m. a Eugene Road caller reported that two tires on her daughter's car had been slashed overnight. The daughter reported not having any issues with anyone. 
  • At 9:21 a.m. a Locust Street caller reported a truck with debris falling out of the back. 
  • At 9:30 a.m. a detail officer on Winn Street reported an unknown vehicle went up the ramp to Route 128 going the wrong way. 
  • At 1:20 p.m. police arrested Kenneth Fischer, 48, of 239 Main Street, Winchedon, on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order. Incident happened a couple of weeks ago. 
  • At 4:57 p.m. a caller at the Burlington Mall reported a disturbance between teenagers. Caller said two young males, who appeared to have been in a previous altercation, were acting aggressively towards each other in the parking lot. One male kicked the side of the other and challenged him to a fight. One party identified as a Billerica youth. 
  • At 7:54 p.m. police arrested a Boston man on a warrant from another agency. The arrest was made after Nordstrom loss prevention confronted the man about possible credit card fraud and he became aggressive towards them. Police found a warrant for his arrest. 
  • At 8:12 p.m. a Carter Road caller reported that when she returned home she found the back doors to her house open and the house had been rummaged through. Caller said they left the doors unlocked.
