Dumpster Fire at Restaurant, Cast Iron Stove Stolen from Yard

Burlington Police Department logs for October 27 - 28.

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, October 27- 

  • At 11:27 a.m. a Meadowvale Road caller reported a cast iron stove stolen from their front yard. The 500-pound stove was taken from the yard within the past two days. 
  • At 5:13 p.m. police arrested a Waltham man on three warrants from other agencies. 
Monday, October 28- 
  • At 8:40 a.m. a Black Horse Lane caller reported a breaking and entering of their motor vehicle. 
  • At 10:04 a.m. a caller reported witnessing a hit and run accident on Wheeler Road. The caller said he saw a man driving a car registered in Massachusetts hit a parked vehicle, get out to observe the damage, and then drive off. 
  • At 3:21 p.m. police arrested a Framingham man on a warrant from another agency. 
  • At 4:03 p.m. a caller at Building 19 reported a sick raccoon in the parking lot. The animal was gone when police arrived. 
  • At 4:46 p.m. a Farms Drive caller reported a possibly rabid raccoon at the apartment complex. 
  • At 5:35 p.m. a caller at Tavern in the Square reported a fire in their dumpster. Burlington Fire Department extinguished the dumpster fire. 
  • At 10:13 a.m. a Lee Avenue caller reported his stepson maliciously damaged his wife's vehicle and the back door of their home.
