Anthony Manfredi, the Burlington man who police said was drunk when he ran over and killed a pedestrian in 2011, was convicted of vehicular homicide.

The decision was rendered this week following a trial, according to the Lowell Sun.

On Sun., Aug. 14, 2011, Manfredi struck and killed Burlington resident Daniel Jalbert, 51, on Cambridge Street. Police said his blood-alcohol content was 0.26—over three times the legal limit.

Less than a year after killing Jalbert, Manfredi was charged with driving a moped drunk in Tewksbury.
