Burlington Airfield Vandalized

Police took a report that the radio control air field on Blanchard Road was vandalized sometime Saturday.

Someone used a chainsaw to cut through the gate then drove a vehicle into the meadow, leaving deep tire ruts on the airstrip. The vehicle also struck a sign pole. Damage was estimated to be in the thousands of dollars. Police were investigating the incident.
