Burlington Police K9 Unit Teams With Salon to Help Protect Police Canines

Anthony David Salon is partnering up with Burlington Police Department's K9 Unit and Massachusetts Vest-A-Dog to help protect the state's canine officers.

According to a release, The Anthony David Salon in Burlington began a campaign that will run through the months of July and August to help raise funds to purchase K-9 First Aid Kits for the heroic K-9's of Massachusetts.

Last year the salon held an art fundraiser to help purchase Havoc a new safety vest.

"These kits are vital and can help save the lives of the K-9 that help keep us safe," the release from Florence Tambone states.

To help kick things off, Burlington Police Department's Officer Joe Papsedero and his partner K-9 Havoc were at the salon on Monday,  July 15 to help bring awareness of the importance of the K-9 First Aid Kits.
