Burlington Man Arrested in New Hampshire
New Hampshire State Police charge Richard Legier of Burlington with felony drug possession, DUI.

A man from Burlington will be arraigned next month on drug and driving charges after a traffic stop on I-93 on the morning of Sept. 26.
Richard P. Legier, 27, was arrested and charged with felony possession of a controlled drug and driving under the influence of a controlled drug.

According to a press statement, the state police received a report of “a vehicle operating erratically” on I-89 South near Exit 5 in Hopkinton around 9:40 a.m. A trooper who was near Exit 1 allegedly observed the car pass him erratically and later, pulled the vehicle over on I-93 in Bow.
Legier reportedly agreed to field sobriety tests and allegedly “performed poorly,” according to the statement. The trooper also allegedly found cocaine and marijuana inside the vehicle.

Legier was arrested and later released on $15,000 personal recognizance bail. He will be arraigned in Concord District Court at 8:15 a.m. on Oct. 7.
