Burlington Boy, 13, Seriously Hurt in Crash
Joseph Viscione walked into the path of a van, authorities said.
A Burlington teenager was seriously injured in a crash in Florida Monday morning.
Joseph Viscione was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Route 41 and Beneva Road in Sarasota County, the Herald-Tribune reported.
Authorities said the teen was in the grass median then tried to cross the northbound side of the highway when he was struck by a van driven by an 82-year-old man, who was not injured.
