Burlington PD: Arlington Man Arrested After Search Yields Two Pounds of Marijuana

Burlington Police Officer David Outerbridge found the narcotics, worth roughly $6,000 on the streets, following a motor vehicle stop on Winn Street.

The announced yesterday that officers have taken roughly two pounds of marijuana off the streets.

According to Burlington Police, on the early morning of Tuesday, Jan. 31, at approximately 12:50 a.m. Officer David Outerbridge of the Burlington Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop of a gray 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee on Winn Street, in the area of and the .

During the search, Outerbridge became suspicious and began a search and investigation of the vehicle and its occupants. That search led to the finding of a large quantity of marijuana" inside the vehicle. The vehicle was being occupied by two male subjects, a 25-year-old Arlington male and a 24-year-old Burlington male. 

Police arrested Brian Bonaccolto, 25, Arlington and charged him with being in possession of a class "D" substance with intent to distribute. The majijuana confiscated weighed over two pounds and had an estimated street value of approximately $6,000. The suspect was held for court on $2,000 cash bail.

Burlington Officers Sergeant Daniel Hannafin and Officer Lyn Reynolds assisted in the arrest.

Officer Joseph Papsedero and Burlington Police K-9 Havoc were summoned to the scene to conduct a further search of the vehicle, police said. That search revealed no further drugs inside the vehicle.
