Rep. Murphy Endorses Ken Gordon

Outgoing 21st Middlesex District State Rep. Charles Murphy has endorsed fellow Democrat Ken Gordon.

The following is a letter of endorsement from State Rep. Charles Murphy:

At the end of this year I will complete my eighth and final term as your State Representative, serving Burlington, Bedford and Wilmington.  While I will miss the opportunity to serve this district, I am certain that if we elect Ken Gordon to succeed me, our district will be in capable hands.  I have gotten to know Ken during this race. He is an articulate, passionate and hard-working advocate for working families. He has devoted his career to help working people, and he is prepared to bring his fight to Beacon Hill.  His skills will serve him well.  It is a difficult job, but I know he will succeed.

Some people have asked me if Burlington is best served with Ken, a Bedford resident, representing the district.  Have no fear.  Ken understands that his role is to represent the entire district, not just a portion of this district.  Just as I worked hard for the residents of Bedford and Wilmington during my 18 years, Ken will work hard for everyone he represents.  He is the only candidate in this race who is a trained and effective advocate, with a proven record of successfully sticking up for working people.  We can trust our district to his capable hands.

Please join me in voting for Ken Gordon for State Representative on November 6.

If you want to continue with Charlie's patronage and failed leadership for Burlington you would vote for Ken. If you want progess and a real fighter for Burlington's needs, Walter Zenkin record as selectman and his positive energy for representing Burlington would get your vote.
