Field Rentals

I was shocked at the price of renting a field for a  sports clinic for  the children in Burlington!  I was quoted $800 to rent a field for 4 hours a day for 4 days!!!!!!  Almost every softball field in Burlington sits unused during the daytime.  It's really a shame that we had to take our clinic to Woburn because we could not afford to pay that kind of money to a town we live in.  With the success of the High School softball team it seems like there has been a renewed interest in this sport and we are trying to keep the feeder program strong.  That' s very difficult to do with the outrageous price of renting a field!  You would think the town would support an athletic program designed to keep the Burlington softball program strong.
Please make field rentals more affordable!!!!!!
