William Richard Grasso, 43, formerly of Burlington and recently of Arlington, died on Sept. 29, 2013 after a brief illness.
Grasso graduated from Burlington High School, Class of 1988, and UMaine Orono, Class of 1992 with a major in journalism.
Visiting hours will be held at the Lane Funeral Home, 760 Main St., Winchester, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to Doctors Without Borders, American Civil Liberties Union or the Save the Music Foundation.
