The Burlington Public Library will be closing at 4:00pm daily until further notice due to a safety issue. The emergency lighting system is out of order therefore, in a power outage, the library has no working lights to safely evacuate the building. The town is working diligently to remedy the situation. Because it is an old system, the parts to make a repair are not readily available and we do not yet have a date as to when this will be available to us. We will resume our normal hours as soon as this is repaired. Our temporary hours are:
Monday through Saturday 10:00am - 4:00pm
Sunday 1:00pm-4:00pm
