Princess Jewelers Gives Back to the Community of Burlington

The Rotary Club of Burlington is pleased to announce that Princess Jewelers will be hosting the grand opening of their new store at 34 Cambridge Street Burlington on Friday, April 25 and Saturday April 26th from 12-8 PM and again on Sunday, April 27 from 12-6 Pm.  A percentage of proceeds of the sales from these dates will be donated to the Rotary Club of Burlington which will benefit the International Project “El Hogar”.  This project will provide for the development of a high quality, safe environment for the education of school age girls at the  La Casa de Niña’s El Hogar School in Santa Maria, a suburb of the capital Tegucigalpa.

Princess Jewelers was established in 2001 by Charbel Hayek when he opened his first location in Derry, NH.  This fall, two Friends Charbel Hayek and Nancy Gerges opened the second store in Burlington.  They immediately reached out to the community of Burlington and made a wonderful and significant donation to the People Helping People Wine Tasting at the Café Escadrille.   Charbel and Nancy reached out to the community once again working with the Rotary Club of Burlington for their largest fundraiser “Friday Night at the Fights”. Not only was Princess Jewelers a Sponsor for the event but Nancy Gerges and Sevan Lohnes who works for Princess Jewelers actually worked at “Friday Night at the Fights” selling raffles to help raise the funds that help so many charities in Burlington.

Charbel, Nancy and Sevan have a community service philosophy. They want to be a partner in the Community of Burlington, not just a business.  The Rotary Club of Burlington hopes that the Community of Burlington will help support this wonderful organization that has already made an impact in our community.  Please take a moment to stop in and say hello and meet Nancy, Charbel,  and Sevan and all the employees of Princess Jewelers and welcome them to Burlington during their grand opening on Friday, April 25 and Saturday April 26th from 12-8 PM and again on Sunday, April 27 from 12-6 PM.
