People Helping People Thanks the Community

People Helping People’s Board of Directors along with the Food Pantry Coordinators would like to thank the Burlington Postal Workers for their efforts in making this year’s food drive a huge success.  Also the generosity of the Burlington residents was tremendous. Over 11,000 pounds of food was collected to help stock the shelves of the Burlington Food Pantry.

A big THANK YOU as well to the many volunteers who helped to sort and date check the food, transfer food to the pantry and help stock the pantry shelves.

Each month the Burlington Food Pantry serves over 120 families and distributes thousands of pounds of food.

Monetary donations may be sent to PHP, PO Box 343, Burlington MA and food donations may be made at the Burlington Public Library, Cambridge Savings Bank, Rockland Savings Bank, Roche Brothers and Market Basket.
