Poehler, Fey, To Host Golden Globes Again
Burlington native Amy Poehler will once again team up with her friend and fellow SNL alum Tina Fey to host the award show.
Comedic actresses Amy Poehler and Tina Fey will once again host the Golden Globes.
Poehler, a Burlington native, is best known for her work on Saturday Night Live and the sitcom Parks and Recreation. Fey is also a well-known SNL alum and was the star of 30 Rock.
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association posted to it's Golden Globes Facebook page on Tuesday that the pair, who hosted the award show this year and received positive reviews on their performance, will be the hosts for both the 2014 and 2015 award shows.
"BREAKING NEWS: Let's break out the Champagne... or Whisky if you prefer: Tina Fey and Amy Poehler return as hosts for the 71st Annual Golden Globes Awards (which will air on January 12, 2014 on NBC) and for the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards in 2015, too!" the Golden Globes posted.
