Patch Snap: Burlington UCC's Team Awesome Volunteering in New Orleans
Patch Snap is an occasional post that features pictures from around Burlington or Burlington residents out and about.
Welcome to another edition of Patch Snap, where we highlight a picture or pictures of around Burlington or of Burlington residents out and about.
Today's Patch Snap is from Janet Knudsen of Burlington’s UCC Congregational Church.
She says adult and youth members of Burlington’s recently returned from a week of service in New Orleans, rebuilding houses destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. The group, dubbed “Team Awesome,” worked with the St. Bernard Project, which has rebuilt more than 435 homes in the Greater New Orleans area since 2006.
