Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day 10/5/2013

Come join the MA Department of Conservation and Recreation and the Greater Boston Chapter of New England Mountain Biking Association in celebrating the 2013 International Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day at the Middlesex Fells.

The event will open at 9:00 am on Saturday, October 5th 2013. There will be adult-led group rides at an easy pace starting at 9:30am, leaving every half hour until 11:30am when we will break for lunch. Following lunch we will have a free raffle for all registered kid MTB'rs for some bike schwag! There will also be some skills stations to practice MTB skills on at Sheephold and bike-themed arts and crafts.

The rides will be led by NEMBA Bike Ride Guides and the NEMBA Mountain Bike Patrol will be staffing and riding along as well. The rides are recommended for ages 8 and up and children will need to be able to ride without training wheels. Parents are welcome to ride along! Helmets required for everyone.

(We will have a limited number of loaner helmets and bikes available - please contact Adam, adam@gbnemba.org if you would like to request use of them.)
