Rotary Club of Burlington High School Interact Club Flatbread Fundraiser
The Rotary Club of Burlington High School Interact Club will
be hosting a fundraiser at Flatbread Company, 213 Burlington Road in Bedford,
on Tuesday, January 28th from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. A percentage of all the pizza’s sold during
the four hour period will go to the Club.
The Burlington High School Interact Club is a group of
approximately 100 students that meet twice a month. On an average 70 students
attend each meeting. The club is
sponsored by the Rotary Club of Burlington.
This students are dedicated to
community service within the town of Burlington. This past December the students collected
over 500 pairs of white tube socks for the Veterans at the Bedford V.A. They presented them to representatives of the
Bedford V.A. at their January 13th meeting. They students also participate in the Rotary
Club of Burlington Senior Valentine Day Dinner Dance that is held every
February for over 200 seniors in the town of Burlington. They also participate in the Buddy Walk
every October. This March will be
making Easter Bags for children of the food pantry. The
High School Interact Club is also an integral part of the success of the
Halloween Spooktacular that takes place every October at Simonds Park which
hosts over a thousand students!
This is a major fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Burlington
High School Interact Club and the funds raised from this event will help with
the many community service projects they do each year. So please stop by on January 28th
and help this wonderful group of students raise money for their projects.
