Lexington Community Education presents: An Introduction to Wine Tasting

Have you ever walked into a wine shop and have been overwhelmed?  Do you know what you like in a wine but have difficulty putting it into words?  Join us as we try to take the intimidation factor out of tasting and describing wines. We will cover how wine is made, the factors that make wines taste the way they do, and how to describe what we are tasting in the terms that the professionals use. The class will cover both theory and tasting of classical wines and wine styles. An additional materials fee of $15 is payable to the instructor at class. This class will not be filmed for broadcast.  Participants must be 21 years of age or older.

The instructor, John Fiola, is a Boston based wine educator who has been teaching consumers and professionals the finer points of wine since 2006.

The cost of this evenings workshop is $35.00.  Pre-registration, using a VISA or MasterCard is strongly recommended by contacting Lexington Community Education at 781 862 8043.
