Community Corner

Donation Drop-Off, for "The Crazy, Huge, FREE, Flea Market" event

We invite YOU to participate in the second annual “BURLINGTON Crazy, huge FREE Flea Market” on September 7, 9am-1pm. The concept is simple, everything is FREE to anyone who attends because everything has been donated by generous, sharing folks in the community!  (See DONATION DROP OFF DATES AND TIMES BELOW) Take what you need” is the slogan, and “share what you don’t!”  We are so excited to celebrate our first year anniversary in our church building in Burlington, we just couldn’t wait to use it to host an opportunity for the community to bless others.  In tough financial times, it only seems logical to drop off “nearly new 3 month old baby clothes”, then take home “6 month old baby clothes” OR drop off “size 4 nearly new soccer cleats”, then take home “size 5 soccer cleats!”  No one in our community should go without a winter coat, or warm pants, or miss an interview or a prom because they do not have the proper dress.  You do not need to donate items to take items. So folks, let’s spread the word, watch & share the Vimeo video link here: https://vimeo.com/70972211  Invite friends, co-workers and neighbors to share what we don’t need,  then join us on Saturday, September 7th, from 9:00am-1:00pm, rain or shine to take what we DO need.  The more items donated, the greater opportunity to transform lives!  Any items not taken by 1:00pm will be donated to charity organizations.
