Were Fears of the Apocalypse Unfounded?
What happened with the supposed end of the world?
Leading up to yesterday there were reports of people predicting the end of the world.
The theories on why the world would end ranged from the "end" of the Mayan Calendar, the writings of Nostradamus and the Sumerian prediction of Earth colliding with the rogue planet Nibiru. In the lead up to the "apocalypse" those pushing these theories caused some people to grow quite concerned.
So, were fears of the end of the world unfounded?
