The Day After Sandy, Where is the Damage?

Let us know where in town trees or wires are down.

Now that Hurricane Sandy has mostly dissapated it's time to take stock of the damage.

So far we have heard of big trees downed on Wilmington Road, Lantern Lane, Mill Street and the corner of Wing Terrace and Putnam Road. We also know that a fence near AMC Cinemas has been blown over.

We at Patch would like to provide updates to the community of where there is potentially dangerous damage in town.

If you see downed trees or wires or other damage, let us know where it is and we will let people know.

Also, if you SAFELY get pictures of hurricane damage we would love to post them on the site. Add them to this article by clicking the 'upload photos' button or email them to Richard.Hosford@Patch.com.

Finally, a Burlington resident who was out and about during the storm yesterday also set up this site with pics and videos of Hurricane Sandy: http://improveburlington.blogspot.com/?view=classic

The power is off from 5pm last night, 18 hours so far,I called number of times. I was told few minutes ago that the problem is unknown and so far nobody is working on our problem. The crew will be assign around 5pm and then they will estimate the problem and how long it is going to take. This is ridiculous, it will be 24 hours before the problem is even estimated. I am in Burlington, MA and Nstar is our power supply company.
