Share Your News! Burlington Patch Wants Your Event Pics and Recaps

If you're hosting an event in Burlington, you can post your pictures and re-caps after the event has taken place to share your success with the community.

Burlington Patch readers do a great job letting the community know about upcoming events by posting Announcements and adding Events to our calendar.

However, we're lacking in one area. How did the event turn out?

Did your business seminar turn heads? Was last night's charity fundraiser a smash? How much did the fundraiser bring in for the food pantry?

Find out what's happening in Burlingtonwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

Burlington Patch wants to empower event organizers to take pictures and write a brief recap so those who couldn't attend can get a feel for what happened in their community and entice them to stop by next time.

It's easy. Simply snap a few photos from your phone or camera and upload them to Burlington Patch by signing-up. From there, you can post your recap at burlington.patch.com/announcements/new, which you can get to by clicking the big "Add an Announcement" button on the right side of the main Announcements page.

As with all of our services, this is free to our users. Every post will be featured on the homepage, sent out in the daily email newsletter (which you can sign up for by clicking "Newsletters" at the bottom of Burlington Patch) and sent out to followers on Facebook and Twitter. We make it our priority to share your news.

If you're unsure about how to post yourself, contact editor Rich Hosford at Richard.Hosford@patch.com. We will help you sign up if you don't already have a user name and post your photos and short recaps of events that went on in Burlington for the whole community to enjoy.
