Question of the Day: What's On Your Summer Reading List?

Answer today's question in the Comments section below

There are few things better about the summer season than the time it affords to sit outside, drink a cool glass of a favorite beverage, and read a book.

Traditionally, summer reading books have been lighter fair, more in the way of thrillers and romance novels than, say, a history of European economics. But what do we know, perhaps you enjoy a bit of heavy reading under the summer sun.

So today's question will answer just that: What is on your summer reading list this year? What books have you already read that you might recommend and/or what are you looking forward to opening?

Let us know your thoughts in the Comments section below.

I have read great books this summer, but two lighter reads that I really enjoyed were Robert Rodi's Seven Seasons in Sienna and Beth Hoffman's Saving CeeCee Honeycutt.

I favor non fiction and mystery, so I just finished Howie Carrs, "Hit Man". I think I need a good love story after that one! I'd still recommend it for anyone interested in our states government.

I have been reading some great non-fiction this summer - I am currently reading Brain Rules by John Medina and Where Good Ideas Come From from Steven Johnson. I recently completed A New Culture of Learning by Douglas Thomas and John Seely Brown.
