Question of the Day: Do You Think the Debt Ceiling Agreement Will Pass?

Answer today's question in the Comments section below

On Sunday President Obama and Congressional leaders from both parties agreed to a deal to end the debt ceiling debate.

According to the Washington Post the deal will allow the debt ceiling to be raised by as much as $2.4 trillion, an amount will cover spending until at least after the 2012 election and allow Obama to avoid another debate during this term. The deal includes spending cuts, a key objective of the Republicans, but no new taxes, another sticking point for conservatives during the debate.

Though a deal has been struck amongst the party leaders, it still needs to pass the House and Senate. That vote could happen today and was set to start this afternoon.
