Hundreds of residents came out to the Town Commons this past Saturday to celebrate Burlington's Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.

The event, put on by the Burlington Recreation Department, featured carolers, dancers and a variety of other entertainment. Right before the lighting the crowd enthusiastically welcomed Santa Clause, his elves and a special visit from Frosty the Snowman.

Santa himself led the count-down to the tree lighting. With the crowd cheering enthusiastically Santa reached "zero" and the Commons lit up with trees decorated in holiday lights.
