Today is Monday, Oct. 29. Here are 5 things you need to know:

  • Rain likely: Looks like it will be a wet one today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect a 70 percent chance of rain which could be heavy at times. Otherwise mostly cloudy with a high temperature near 61 degrees. Rain likely tonight with a low around 54.

  • Selectmen: The Burlington Board of Selectmen are meeting at 7 p.m. in the main hearing room on the second floor of Town Hall.
  • Ice skating lessons: The BHS Adult program is offering ice skating lessons at Burlington Ice Palace on Mondays at 5:10 p.m. Cost is $120 for eight lessons. Click here for more information.
