Five Places to Dine with Your Valentine in Burlington

Many couples enjoy a romantic evening on February 14 and Burlington has many options.

Valentine's Day is next Tuesday and its a likely bet that couples will be looking for the perflect place to share a romantic dinner to celebrate the occassion. We thought we'd try and help by listing some suggestions of places where people enjoy dining.  The following are five suggestions:

  • - 2 Wall Street

Pappa Razzi is a high-end Italian restaurant, trattoria and bar located across from the Wayside Commons. They feature some traditional Italian dishes on the menu, include crepes, melon and prosciutto; antipasti; and pollo piccata.   •   - 10 Wayside Road

The Capital Grille is a high-end chain restaurant in the Wayside Commons. This location provides private fine dining options including Broiled Fresh Lobster, Delmonico Steak, Filet Mignon and Double Cut Lamb Rib Chops. In addition, this location also provides a wine list including 350 different wines from around the world.  The Capital Grille is open daily and reservations are suggested.   • - 1 Mall Road, in the Marriot

Summer Winter is a classic New England style restaurant that offers an oyster bar, a full dinner menu and a "small bites" menu featuring a variety of options. Entrees include plank roasted fish and herbs, steamed Maine lobster and orange, paprika and cinnamon roasted duck. 781-221-6643

  • - 86 Cambridge Street

L'Andana features Tuscan inspired cuisine, eclectic décor and generous portions. The restaurant serves a variety of traditional Italian dishes including mushroom zuppa, calamari, prosciutto di parma, tortellini and rigatoni.   • - 23 Cambridge Street 

Cafe Escadrille offers several different ways of dining in the restaurant. There is a gourmet room, the cafe and late-night dining in the bar, each with its own menu. The menu includes Roasted Duckling a L'Orange, steak and lobster, and is fairly traditional French, Italian and American fare. 781-273-1916

L'Andana is the best place in Burlington for a couples night out! Summer Winter has darn good sirloin burgers though!
