Today is Friday, Feb. 15. Here are 5 things you need to know:

  • Some sun and warm: Looks like a pretty nice day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect partly sunny skies with a high near 49 degrees. It could be windy though with gusts as high as 25 miles per hour. Slight chance of snow (20 percent) tonight with a low around 27. 
  • Public meeting: The Burlington Disability Access Commission is meeting at 9:30 a.m. in the first floor meeting room at the Recreation Department.
  • Dungeons and Dragons: Guard Up! Family Swordsmanship & NERF is holding a Dungeons and Dragons Night at 7 p.m. this evening. Bring your dice and your favorite hero to save the day.   • After-school program registration: Registration for the Burlington Public Schools Before and After School Programs and Summer Central, is open through Feb. 20, for children in grades kindergarten through 5. Registration forms for the 2013/2014 school year are available at www.bpsk12.org under the Community tab
  • Baby books: The Burlington Public Library is hosting a Baby Storytime for newborns to children 18 months old at 11 a.m. this morning. Delight and stimulate your baby’s senses with books, songs and puppets that help build brain power.
