Today is Wednesday, Sept. 19. Here are 5 things you need to know:

  • Morning rain: Looks like a good day for an umbrella. According to the National Weather Service we can expect rain today, mostly before noon. Otherwise cloudy with a high near 68 degrees. Partly cloudy tonight with a low around 46. 
  • Public meetings: The Land Use Committee is meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Annex lounge. Ways & Means is meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the main hearing room at Town Hall.

  • Lego Club: The Burlington Public Library is hosting a Lego Club for children in grades K to 6 at 4 p.m. this afternoon. They supply the Legos, you bring your imagination.
  • Square dancing: St. Malachy Church, route: {:controller=>"listings", :action=>"show", :id=>"saint-malachy-catholic-church"} --> is hosting Single Squares beginner classes for those interested in square dancing. No need for a partner, just show up and meet new people and have fun. Cost is $7.
